Your data

This page explains, in a minute, what La Página keeps and who can see it. The Privacy Policy and the Terms are the full versions, and they govern if anything here differs.

WHAT WE KEEP

  • Your name and email address.
  • What you write, record, draw or photograph, including drafts.
  • For each piece you send: what you sent, the permissions you chose, how you asked to be credited, and the version of the contributor agreement you accepted.
  • If you pay on the web, the information needed to manage your membership and payment records. We don't hold your full card number; our payment processor, Stripe, does. If you subscribe in the app, Apple handles the payment.
  • Basic technical information when you use the sites or the app: your IP address, browser or device type, and the pages or screens you visit.
  • Memberful processes paid memberships and checkout on the web and, for members who choose it, sign-in with an existing Memberful account. Supabase keeps the sign-in details for La Página accounts, and Lovable sends our account emails: confirming your email address, and setting, changing or resetting your password.
  • Google Analytics measures visits to La Página on the web. We don't use it for advertising.
  • We keep our own records of members and contributions in Airtable.

WHO CAN SEE WHAT

  • Drafts: only you. Drafts aren't shown to other members.
  • A piece you send in: our editorial team, to review it for the Edición, and, if it's placed on the ballot, members who can vote.
  • El Mural (public): only if you turn on "El Mural and promotion" when you send, and after review. You can turn it off later.
  • If you chose Anonymous, your name isn't shown to other members or on El Mural. We still keep the link between you and your piece in our own records, so we can honour your permissions and any withdrawal.
  • Staff tools show account names and counts, not your drafts. Staff access needs an editorial role, and it's logged when someone sees who wrote an Anonymous piece, plays an Anonymous recording or opens the member list.
  • If you use Story Coach, the words you give it go to Cloudflare Workers AI so it can respond. It tells you what will be sent and asks first. We don't use your words to train AI models.
  • We don't sell your information or share it for anyone else's advertising.

WHAT YOU CONTROL (and where)

  • Take a sent piece back to your drafts, until the Edición's deadline: My work → open the piece → Take it back.
  • Turn "El Mural and promotion" and "My voice and video" on or off later: on the piece's page, under your choices.
  • Change your language: Account → Language (EN | ES).
  • Delete a draft: My work → Remove / Delete.
  • Stop email: use the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • Delete your account: in the La Página app, Account → Delete my account, or write to contact@theinquieto.com. Cancelling a membership is separate: cancel where you signed up on the web, or in your Apple subscriptions if you subscribed in the app.

HOW TO LEAVE

  • Deleting your account removes your account, your drafts and any submissions that haven't been published. Some records stay, as the Privacy Policy sets out: payment records the law requires; the permissions and credit for work published in an Edición, for as long as it's published or distributed; a record that your account was deleted and when; and which versions of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted. Printed or downloaded copies of a published Edición can't be recalled.
  • A membership you bought on the web stops renewing and stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. For a yearly membership you can instead ask us to refund the unused part, worked out day by day. The first payment of a founding membership has its own refund window, set out in the Terms.
  • You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct or delete it: contact@theinquieto.com. We answer within 30 days.
