Help & FAQ

WHAT IS THIS?

What is La Página?

The room where members make the work. You write, record, draw or add an image, and members send pieces in for an Edición, a printed book. Not everything sent in is printed; DavIsa's editors make the final book.

Do I need to be good at this?

No. A line is enough to begin.

What's an Edición?

A printed book made from what members send in. Edición 001 is the first one.

MAKING SOMETHING

How do I start?

Choose how you want to begin: write, record your voice, draw, or add an image. It opens straight away; there's nothing to fill in first.

YOUR DRAFTS

Who can see what I'm working on?

Only you. No other member sees a draft unless you send it in.

Where is my draft kept?

With an account, your drafts save to your account, on the web and in the app on iPhone or iPad, so you can pick them up on either. Without an account, they stay only in this browser or on this device until you create an account and choose to move them.

Can I lose a draft?

Drafts save to your account as you go. If you make changes while you're offline, they're kept on that device until it reconnects, so deleting the app before then loses those changes. Deleting a draft removes it everywhere.

On the web, your writing saves automatically, and a backup copy is kept in the browser you're writing in. If a save fails, the editor tells you. That backup copy stays only in that browser: clearing your browser data deletes it, and you won't find it on another device.

The backup keeps your words, not their formatting.

Can I delete a draft?

Yes. Deleting a draft removes it from all your devices, and it can't be undone.

PEPITA AND STORY COACH

Is Pepita a person?

No. Pepita is software.

What does Story Coach do?

It asks questions to help you find what you remember, and it can help you organize what you've said if you ask it to. It doesn't write your piece. Whatever ends up in your draft is there because you put it there.

Do I have to use it?

No. Story Coach is optional, and it asks your permission before any of your words are sent. You can write, record, draw and send things in without it.

Where do my words go when I use it?

What you tell Story Coach goes to Cloudflare Workers AI, the outside company that runs the model, so it can answer. Your draft goes too when you ask Story Coach to work with it, for example by tapping Shape what I have. We don't use your writing to train AI models, and Cloudflare's terms say it doesn't use this content to train AI models.

PHOTOS AND PAGES

What kind of photo works best?

Send the original from your camera roll if you can. Photos passed through WhatsApp or text, and screenshots, get shrunk on the way — they look fine on a phone and print badly. Straight from the camera is almost always fine.

Which files can I use?

JPEG, PNG or WebP. iPhone photos convert on their own.

Why was my photo refused?

It was too small to print. It's most likely a forwarded or saved copy — try the original.

Do you take the location off my photos?

Yes. We strip location data from every photo when you upload it.

Can I send a photo with children in it?

No. For this first Edición, no photos where a child can be recognised — not your own, not with permission — and no drawings or pages a child made. Writing about children goes a different way, through a separate review.

What do I confirm when I send images?

That they're yours to share: you made them or you have the right to share them; anyone recognisable in them said yes to them being published; and no child made them or appears in them. For a captured page, that it's your own writing or drawing.

SENDING IT IN

When do submissions close?

Edición 001 is open until Sunday 22 November, 5 PM Pacific. Not everything sent in is printed; DavIsa's editors make the final book.

What if I change my mind after sending it?

Yes, until your deadline. Open My work, open the piece and tap Take it back. Pieces sent by Monday 12 October, 5 PM Pacific can be taken back until Wednesday 14 October, 6 PM Pacific. Pieces sent after that can be taken back until Sunday 22 November, 5 PM Pacific. Each piece's page shows its own deadline. After your deadline, we can't take a piece out of anything already printed. You can turn El Mural and promotion off at any time.

I spelled my name wrong. Can I fix it?
Who sees it after I send it?

Members who can vote see it, with the credit you chose: your name, a pen name, or anonymous. Editors read it. It's only on the public website if you chose El Mural.

Does sending it in mean it gets printed?

No. Members vote for the piece that moved them most, which helps us understand what resonates, and DavIsa's editors make the final book.

VOTING

How does the vote work?

Every eligible member gets one vote in each movement, and your membership level doesn't buy more votes. You can change your vote until voting closes. Your own pieces aren't on the ballot, and nobody sees vote counts.

MEMBERSHIP

How do I sign in?

Enter your email and tap Continue. If you've set a password, type it in. If you haven't, we'll email you a sign-in link and a code; either one works. They work once and expire after 24 hours, and the code won't work in a private or incognito window. Want to skip the email next time? Choose "Create a password instead" on that screen (we'll email you a link to set one), or use the link at the bottom of the sign-in email.

Do I need to pay to use La Página?

No. You can start without an account. A free account lets you vote and send a piece in for the printed book. Not everything sent in is printed; DavIsa's editors make the final book.

What does it cost?
How do I cancel?

If you joined on the web, sign in at pagina.sesionesinquieto.com, open Account and choose "Manage or cancel your membership". If you subscribed in the app, Apple bills you: cancel in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, and ask Apple for any refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Cancelling stops the renewal; your La Página account stays.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Account, then Delete my account. This deletes your account, your drafts and anything you've sent in that hasn't been published, and anything of yours on El Mural comes down. A piece already locked into an Edición stays in that Edición. If you have a web membership, it stops renewing, and you keep it until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting doesn't cancel an Apple subscription; cancel that in Settings.

IF SOMETHING'S WRONG

Something isn't working.

Use "Something not working?" in the app to tell us what happened, or write to sesiones@theinquieto.com.

How do I report something or block someone?

Tap Report this piece on a piece and an editor will look at it. To stop seeing a member's work, block them; they won't be told, and you can undo it in Account.

I'm writing about something hard. Who sees it?

While it's a draft, only you. If you send it in, members who can vote see it with the credit you chose, and editors read it.

I need help right now.

If you might hurt yourself or someone else, in the US (including Puerto Rico) call or text 988. For Spanish, press 2 when you call, or text the word AYUDA. In Puerto Rico, you can also call Línea PAS at 1-800-981-0023, any time, day or night, or chat at lineapas.assmca.pr.gov. Anywhere else, contact your local emergency services. In Story Coach, the Support button shows these too.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to sesiones@theinquieto.com; we answer within 30 days.

If you arrive on La Página through one of our links that carries a campaign tag (for example, a QR code, one of our emails or our Instagram bio), we set a cookie on La Página's own site. It holds only that tag, the page you landed on and when. It holds no name, email, IP address or device ID, and it isn't sent to anyone else. It lasts 30 days. If you create an account in that time, we copy the tag onto your account so we know which link brought you. It's deleted with your account. Separately, Google Analytics on La Página's home page can see the same tags in the page address, as our Privacy Policy explains.
